Geocache Description:

Come join us for a lesson on gold panning and some fine caching!

Please bring a cool / unique / creative cache container and we will play a game and do a raffle... The more interesting the container (within reason) the more interesting the game...

June 2nd, 3rd, & 4th The space is reserved from Friday to through Sunday night. The main "event" will be on Saturday, but feel free to come at any time. There are vault toilets and no drinking water, so bring water.

Directions: From Hwy 20, take the Green Peter turn off just east of Foster Lake and stay on that road till you see us on the right (about 27 miles). Or from Hwy 22, take FS road 11 west for 29 miles or so and we are on the left.

There is no gasoline or stores up here so bring what you need

This is a tent camping event. There will be a "communal food gazebo" potluck style, and a friendly community campfire for swappin stories in the evening. Bring some fire wood to add to the pile if you like.

It is a good base of opperations for the caches in the area.

OK so heres the Low-Key "schedule"... :

Friday~

* Camp will open at 10 am or so

* Odder will lead a caching expedition to "Pirates Plundering Pyrite" at about 2:30

* Communal dinner is at 5 or 6 or when ever everyone decides they are hungry.

* The peeps roasting event will commence at about 8 and continue through the rest of the evening.

Saturday~

* The Mystery event, raffle and gold panning lesson will take place in the late morning and maybe again in the afternoon.

* Odder will lead a caching expedition to "The Cathedral" at about 2:30 or 3. (swimsuit reccommended, see Cathedral cache page)

* Communal dinner is at 5 or 6 or when ever everyone decides they are hungry.

* The peeps roasting event will commence at about 8 and continue through the rest of the evening.

Sunday~

* Odder will lead the commerative event cache placement expedition at some point before 3 pm...

* Communal dinner is at 5 or 6 or when ever everyone decides they are hungry.

* The peeps roasting event will commence at about 8 and continue through the rest of the evening.

Monday~

* Go home and recover!!
