I first learned about geocaching on a cruise, when my mother in
law asked any of us knew anything about it. I had never heard of
it, but after she explained it to us I asked for a GPS for
Christmas. On January 1, 2004 we went searching with my husband's
whole family for our first 2 caches. We DNF both of them. One of
them was called Southside Sprint, by Lazycachers. I am hiding this
cache in honor of that first cache DNF (we went back a month later
and found it).
You are hunting a tool box, because during the hunt my husband
(aka plus 1) yells I found it and pulls a very heavy tool box out
of the underbrush. We open it up very excited and find it full of
large drill bits. Needless to say we were very confused about what
a geocache was supposed to be. It did not contain a log book. Now
at almost 500 find we would like to thank NEFGA for all the great
hides. Enjoy the hunt.
You will need to park in front of the Sprint store and walk to
the cache. Tree cover will make this one a little harder.
The picture was our other DNF that day!
