The Green Lane Traditional Cache
wildboys: The original location of this cache has been destroyed. The beautiful country woodland path has been converted into a track which 4*4's can drive along. There is no obvious place in the vicinity to relocate the cache.

An easy level walk along a public footpath with trees both sides, though GPS reception is OK. Can be a little muddy, some narrow bridges over streams. Best approached from west end of path where parking is easier.
The cache is a standard size tupperware box inside a camouflage bag, containing the usual assortment of small goodies and knick-knacks.
The path used to be a droveway used by farmers taking their cattle down to the pastures beside the River Gowy, or to the railway station at Mickle Trafford.
