It doesn’t matter which way you choose to approach this cache from, you will come to a Y in the trail and will have to make a decision on which leg to take.
We decided to make our second cache a little more challenging. Its along the Confederation Trail so it will be popular with hikers and bikers alike, absolutely no bushwhacking is required. This area was used to switch trains to different destinations hence the maze of roads to take, some no longer in use, others taken over by the trail.
The least amount of walking you’ll have to do is 460 meters but if you come in the winter the road is not plowed so you’ll have to use the Brackley Point Rd or Winsloe Rd Entrance to the trail, 900 meters and 1.6 Kms from the cache respectively. The container is not camouflaged but is coloured to fit well into it’s surroundings. It’s not where you usually find them!
