OK Geocachers, it’s that time of the year to give back to the Parks that we enjoy all year long –its CITO time again!
Let’s meet at John H Shields Park and work in the morning and mix and mingle in the afternoon. Everyone is welcome!
We'll start the dirty work at 10:00am and fire up the barbeques around 1:00. Bring your own stuff to bbq along with a side dish and your own beverages for the potluck meal. If we have enough folks show up, I hope to have a few groups return to Minnehaha Park again (it's just up the road) to clean up a few piles o' stuff.
We’ll supply the paper plates and plastic utensils. I am hoping that one or more barbeques might appear for the day (hint hint), and hopefully a few tables... You might also want to bring your own chair or blanket.
Spokane Parks Department (in conjunction with the County Parks Dept.) is again providing gloves and garbage bags. The County will open the restrooms for us too.
Official CITO T-SHIRTS are available. If you want one, please mention what size(s) in your log so Yellow Alligator (Thanks YA!) can place the order. Adult and youth Tshirts are $7.00, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL sizes are $10.00. Cut-off date for ordering will be April 12, so place your order ASAP. The color is ash grey and looks to be a great summer geocaching Tshirt.
I look forward to seeing y’all there. Please post a note that you can attend so I’ll have a head count for supplies. I will update this page as I get more details. Until then make sure you leave that day open on your calendars.
