Geocache Description:

First in a line of interestingly placed caches that have easy parking if you have someone to wait in the car. These caches are meant to be quick grabs but not your normal cache and dash. Each one will take you to an interesting site.

The first in the series takes you to a statue that you will not expect to see in this city.

The cache is NOT located on the statue but behind it to the north.

Society Hill was named for the "Free Society of Traders" founded in 1682 and funded by over 200 financial backers in London. The Society established a glass works, tannery, saw & grist mills, brick kiln and fishery that caught whales in Delaware Bay.

The coordinates for this cache were an average over 10 minutes of time with an ending accuracy of 13 feet (elevation 71 feet).

***Please don't post any pictures of the site or refer to what the object in question is. I think the surprise is half the fun of this cache. I reserve the right to delete logs that don't comply with this!***
