Geocache Description:

The final location of this two-stage cache is located near the Fillmore Cemetery, which is just off I-20 and convenient to find on the way to or from the caches at nearby Bayou Bodcau Dam and Reservoir.

Some local historical figures are buried in this cemetery. One is Major General O.R. Gellette, the last surviving officer of General Robert E. Lee's staff. (See the historic marker sign on the entrance road for information on other notables buried here.) Find General Gellette's marker at the posted coordinates. Note his wife's connected marker and count the number of letters in her first name. Add that number to 32 33.321 for the first coordinate of the final cache. For the second coordinates: Note the years in which Major General Gellette was born and died. Subtract the born year from the died year. (He was old. This guy was around for the Civil War and some of WWII!) Subtract 7 from that number, and use the result to complete the final coordinates of 093 31.4 _ _ The cache is a lockable, plastic ammo box with a pen and log inside.
