Near an Open Space area operated by the city of Albuquerque. Please DO NOT enter the fenced off area it is a Wildlife Sanctuary. You should use the bike path to the north of the small parking area.
The cache conmemorates a favorite great-aunt (Nena)and a grandmother (Nana). Part of a series of caches that will all conmemorate family memebers that have passed away.
This cache is also cool because in the fall this area gets groups of migrating cranes. They come to eat the grain that is planted here and is slowly mowed down. AGAIN do NOT enter beyond the signed/fenced area. You can see the cranes just fine from afar.
This is a two stage multicache. The coordinates listed are to an item containing the coordinates to the final cache. The final cache is an ammo box just off the biek path.
