Geocache Description:

Our class has been raising trout since January. They started as little alevins with their heads buried in the rocks, but are now minnows is search of dinner. We released 200 fish here on 3/30/2006. If you want one of these travel fish for your own all you need to do is catch one. You had better be quick though as this lake can only be fished in the winter time, December through March. The cache will be easiest to find in the summer and the fish in the winter.

To get to this cache from Colville head east on 3rd, which is highway 20 and also known as the Tiger Highway. Go on until just past White Mud Lake then turn right, south, on Artman-Gibson Road. Take the gravel county road that angles uphill off to your left and travel until it takes a 90 degree turn to the left at the coordinates N 48° 30.262 W 117° 48.151. You, however, are turning right on a dirt road that looks like a driveway. Travel down this road the short distance until it ends and your hunt begins.

The container is a Lock and Lock.

It contains things you would find in a school desk or fish items.

Like:
a little yo-yo
lots of little pencils, grips, and a sharpener.
erasers
little car
purple popper

For the First to Find there is a certificate
and first choice of fish wire sculptures and drawings.
Also, there is a First to Find certificate for those under 12 years old

Please wave to any fish you see jumping, and say hi from us.
