FORMERLY WHERE THE HECK ARE WE DAVE? CACHE, but it was replace by our fellow cachers. Work, work, and more work has kept me at bay, and away from the area. I hope to make that hike again sometime soon...
There are plenty of caches in the area, but few require you to do some hiking. This cache is about a mile off the road on a trail that requires you to be in good physical condition. Best place to park is on one of the turn outs near the trail head.I placed this cache on our way to Mountain Home Campground, But with all the snow this weekend, this is as far as we dared to venture. We set up camp, with the intent to stay the night, but boredom got the best of us and we decided to camp elsewhere.
The cache container is an ammo can. I forgot to include a pencil, so please bring your own writing utensil. The trail can be dangerous, and at the time I placed this cache there was lots of snow, waist high in some spots. As always watch for snakes, and bears, Your best bet is to go with a buddy, and bring lots of water and food. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.... And have fun...
