If you're coming from the west then you're probably doing all
right, but if you're coming from the east then you could probably
use a break along this nauseating road. So if you're feeling a bit
queasy or just need another cache to find, here's your stop.
Container is a large ammo can and trust us, it's fully stocked
(see picture). Cache is a little over 500 ft. from the given
parking coords, but if you have an offroad vehicle you can get
within 60 ft of the cache. It's a little uphill walk and
children should be watched carefully due to loose rocks along
the path. Watch them even closer once you are within 60 feet or
so where there is an abundance of jumping cholla. You'll get an
elevated view of the area including the winding Apache Trail below
you.
As stated, this container is FULLY stocked with way too
many items to list. A few are items we received with the ammo can
(won at an East Valley Pizza Cache Event) but the majority of the
items are brand new and there should be something for everyone.
Please plan your trades accordingly and fairly. A gift card
is in the cache for the First To Find.
NOTE: Someone has setup their own personal target
practice area west of the parking coords. It shouldn't be a problem
but if you do see other vehicles parked in this area be aware they
may be down there. You, however, will be going in the OPPOSITE
direction for the cache.
A camera has also been included in the cache. Feel free to snap
a shot of yourself and let us know which number you took.
Enjoy the cache and the Apache Trail!
