Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden at the Kit Carson town park.

Kit Carson was a rather famous person in the western United States. This town is just one of the many places named after him.

If you visit between Memorial Day and Labor Day, visit the historic train depot that used to reside along the Union Pacific tracks a few blocks south. Admission is free and they have lots of history on display inside.
