Please be sure to bring:
work gloves
water
bug spray
pickup truck (if you have one)
x-tra shovels, rakes, and trash bags would also be helpful
The DNR will provide us with a large roll-off dumpster at the
trailhead for waste disposal.
MiGO's very own Venturing Crew 4485 in cooperation with the
Michigan DNR has organized this CITO event to help cleanup a
naturally beautiful area that has been horably abused.
In the area surrounding the trailhead there are truckloads of
furniture, household trash, and building materials (see gallery for
photo's). We'll need all the help we can get to get this place
looking pretty again. I just wish those responsable would have been
caught in the act.
Meet & Greet:
At noon we'll rendezvous back at the trailhead for some socializing
and hot dogs. (provided by MiGO NL Chapter)
We'll have a travel bug exchange table, so be sure to bring any
bugs that need to be moved along.
We will also be having a prize raffle. If you would like to donate
something to the prize table, be sure to let us know.
