Hey --
Went back and replaced the cache at the same coordinates and in the same manner as the original cache.
We replaced it with a tea tin. It's inside a freezer bag to help with the rust/wetness common with tins. There are a few trinkets and treasures to start it out with and the logbook notes it is a replacement and also lists the FTF, and all finders, before it was muggled.
