Geocache Description:

A quick grab and go - unless you can't decide which music to take with you. Cherry Grove Cemetery is very nicely maintained but doesn't see a whole lot of visitors. As far as I know it is active.

As the name implies, this cache is designed to trade your favorite homemade mix CD’s (burned legally of course)or other CD's and music related items. A long drive is always more interesting with some new music to listen to, so knock off a cache and get some music to take with you while you are at it.

Inside the container you will find 5 purple CD cases that should remain in the cache container – simply remove a CD from one of the cases for yourself and leave a CD behind in the same case to be placed back in the container for the next visitor.

On the CD’s you leave behind, please write the name of the artist, the type of music, and the name of the cacher that is leaving it behind. As with anything, please preview the music before playing it in front of your children so that your three year old doesn’t learn to use the creative list of expletives that I use on a daily basis – if the CD is kid friendly, mark the CD accordingly.

I have left behind a Greg Brown disc (if you’ve never heard him you are in for a treat), a Chris Whitley mix (alternative blues), a John Butler Trio mix (wow, what a guitar player), and for the kids a disc containing 42 of my children’s favorite silly songs. Feel free to trade other items as well. I’m a guitar guy, but any and all genres are fair game – except for Barry Manilow and Jessica Simpson (those will be disposed of properly in the microwave). There is a plush frog for the FTF and I am dropping my son's Percy the Steam Engine TB. As usual with a Spirit Hunt, be respectful of the area - you barely have to get off of the gravel drive to get this cache. Have fun!
