I have long been collecting postcards of my hometown of Galt Ontario and have thought of a way to share some of my favourites.
Jackson Park
Most of the walk is on stone dust trails suitable for strollers. The difficulty rating is for the last 30m or so. The posted coordinates bring you to an object that just doesn’t really belong there. Although in 1984 reconstruction of the historic bridge was delayed because the creek is considered a navigable waterway and the proper permits weren’t obtained from the Coast Guard (honest).
On the top side of the object there are five digits. Add them together and then add 57 (digital root of the answer is 2). Take the number and divide by 1000. Now subtract this from the minutes of the north coordinate and add it to the minutes of the West Coordinate to get to the next stage.
Now you are standing near a structure (although not an historic one). To find the final, walk to the centre of the structure and project a waypoint 220m at a heading of 182° True.
