Northern Michigan Geocachers Monthly Event

What	NMG Spring Picnic
When	Saturday, May 6, 2006 - 1:00 PM until.... Schedule: 1:00-2:30 M&G 2:30-3:30 Eat 3:30-? Games Group caching after.
Where	Otsego Township Park (Memorial Park) Waters, MI. There is a newly renovated playground near the pavilion for a child friendly afternoon of fun.
Why	Why? Because... Spring is here in Northern Michigan! This event is an opportunity to socialize and develop friendships. The coordinates will bring you to Memorial Park in Otsego Township (Waters) MI. We will arrive around 1PM and continue as long as we want to. Come and join us for some fun and food, and to celebrate Spring's arrival. Everyone is invited to come, new cachers, experienced cachers and those who are curious about geocaching.
What to bring	Yourself and your geokids, your geodogs are welcome too. A dish to pass. Hot dogs, buns and condiments will be provided. Your beverage of choice. Camp chairs if you have them. If you have geocoins to share, please bring them along. If you have travel bugs you would like to move, feel free to bring them along and hand them off. If you wish to participate in a fun science experiment please bring along one or two 2 liter bottles of pop ( Faygo colors ) diet or regular, and 1 roll Mentos per each 2 liter bottle. Items for the prize table are welcomed also!!!
Activities Planned	A scavenger hunt is in the works for the afternoon. We will be making pop fountains. Mentos + Pop = Fun
Who	We are Northern Michigan Geocachers, "Geocaching Up North Style".
