Towering Trees II Multi-Cache

Located in Beautiful Narrows Park, Replaces original Towering Trees
I decided to turn Towering Trees into a multiple cache since the permit had to be renewed anyway. It is best to park at N30º.41.392; W084º.01.783. The cache coordinates will get you to the first stage of this four stage cache. When you arrive to the coordinates, with your back to the river read the sign and use the information you find to answer the questions and determine the location to Stage 2. My purpose is to have you enjoy the park and the different trees and to see first hand some of Natures beauty while at the same time getting a little exercise. Each stage will require you to answer questions to determine the coordinates to the next stage. The cache container is the same container used for the original Towering Trees, (a green fishing tackle box). This cache has been approved by the Greene County Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Arts Department of Greene County. Permit number is 3031.
1. To find Stage 2 coordinates use the following information obtained from the sign at this location.
Stage 2: N39º.41.ABC W084º.0D.EFG

A = Subtract the number of “V”s from the numerical digit on the sign.
B = Total the number of “A”s and “T”s on the sign.
C = Numbered letter of the alphabet the last letter in the first word on the sign, (A=1 etc.)
D = The number of “M”s on the sign.
E = Numbered letter of the alphabet the 4th letter in the 2nd word on the sign.
F = Subtract “2” from the total number of letters in the first word on the sign.
G = Subtract “1” from the answer to “E”.
2. To find Stage 3 coordinates use the following information obtained from the sign at this location.
Stage 3: N39º.41.ABC W084º.01.DEF

A = Number of “R”s on the sign.
B = Number of letters in the 2nd word in the Latin name of the tree (include any missing letters).
C = Subtract the number of letters in the first word of the English name from the number of letters in the second word in the English name of the tree.
D = Subtract “1” from your answer for “B”.
E = Subtract “1” from the number of letters in the 1st word in the Latin name for the tree.
F = Total the number of “P”s, “L”s, “E”s, “S”s, and “M”s on the sign.

B = Number of letters in the 2nd word in the Latin name for the tree.
C = Number of letters in the 2nd word in the English name for the tree.

E = Number of times this Ohio College Football team played in the Rose Bowl in the last 3 years.
F = Number of “U”s on the sign.
