Parking available at either Shaw's Bridge or Clement Wilson Park. Location can be slippery when wet, be careful!
Shaw’s bridge treasure box:
Unfortunately this cache was vandalised and the hiding place ruined so we have had to move it. The published co-ordinates above are roughly the entry point to the forest.
Once in the forest tree cover will reduce the gps accuracy, especially in summer, but the clue should help.
The cache is at approx 54°33.1745'N 5°56.5490'W.
Checked with new GPS (16 Feb 08) - should be more accurate that the previous co-ordinates now :-)
Small, clear plastic 700ml tab-lock box marked on lid with GEOCACHING logo.
Contains logbook and pencil (please fill in and leave for others!)
Also contains some small 'treasures': post its, keyring, small duck, glitter pen, scented rubber, hair clips
Placed by children, suitable for children.
