Geocache Description:


Mason Mill, Medlock, and Ira B. Melton parks are all part of one large forest, connected by trails. The Mason Mill Geocaching Adventure spans all three parks and includes over 10 caches available to basic users, plus several more for premium users. You can also participate in two Adventure Labs that start in the Mason Mill parking lot.

In this park area. The trails have just started to be developed and contuine to be developed. After a heavy rain some of the trail area may flood but the cache would not be flooded. Hope you enjoy exploring the park area in Decatur. Trail head starts at the road west of cache, please feel free to follow the trail to other caches in Mason Mill, Medlock, and Ira B. Melton Park. The container has been changed to a small medicine bottle because had to move. The cache can still have small items added that reminds you of some fun times. It is approximately 10 foot off sidewalk.
