Geocache Description:

This cache is located at a National Historic Bridge known as the John's Burnt Mill Bridge near New Oxford.

John's Burnt Mill Bridge is often called the Camelback Bridge. This triple arched stone bridge was built prior to the Civil War. There were 9 such stone bridges constructed in Adams County prior to 1825. Two remain, one in northern Adams County and John's Mill in southern Adams County.
