A small cache along a closed off section of Riverview road in Eden Prairie
Park at N44 48.865 W93 25.942 this is the only place that I know of where there is legal access to get to the cache.
When I was a little kid this is the road we took to get to The Lions Tap, way back when it was a tiny place with about six tables. Then when I was a teenager this part off the road got closed off and my friends and I rode dirt bikes and snowmobiles all over back here, racing up and down the road, climbing the hills to the top off the bluffs. We had some really great times back here. It really was a beautiful area not known by many people. I had not been back here for many years but I thought it would be a great place to hide some caches. Then I saw how much things change over time. Progress? It is not anything like it used to be, There are houses all over the bluffs the road is washed out in a few places and the SW end of it is private property and clearly marked, so do not go into the private property. Even though it is not nearly as cool as it was in the old days, it still is a pretty neat area, I hope you enjoy the walk and the scenery.
