It's about a flat 450 foot walk, then a short uphill walk from the gate to the cache which is about 175 feet off trail. Be prepared for some posion oak, stickers and star thistle in the dry months. Always check for rattlesnakes before reaching for the container.
The Rocky Fire of 2015 destroyed the original container. This container is a bit smaller and just like the original this cache is not watertight so use ziploc bags when necessary. The shape of this container will limit what can be placed within it. After the muggle of the container in 2017 the container was replace. The "camo" itself is regular size. However, the actual log is inside a small pill bottle.
