Geocache Description:

The small creek bed you crossed at the Redbud Trailhead is called Perkins Creek. The Redbud trail will take you to the top of a ridge called Perkins Creek Ridge. The cache is located at the far east side of Perkins Creek Ridge. If you continue from this point it will be downhill all the way to the Cache Creek.

Warning: The cache is located on a steep slope. Please be careful.

Update Feb 2016: Watch out for Bees! As long as the bees are there if you spot the hide I will allow a find. Since it is the wilderness I will not be killing or removing the bees.

Update Apr 2016: Bees are still holding up in the base of the tree on the left hand side as one faces the tree from the trail. I approached the hide from the right side without problems.

My Feb 2016 update still stands.

Update Apr 2018: Bees have returned. Please be careful when the bees are swarming.
