Geocache Description:

This cache will take you to the West shore of Cayuga Lake. It is located at a public boat launch otherwise known as Dean's Cove. I used to swim and fish there as a teen long before the state did the renovations and I still love to smelt this creek. Cache is a green plastic case, dimensions are 5"x8"x3" and contains key chains. This place could be crowded depending on time of year and time of day. During the summer there is a cost to launch a boat, but shouldn't effect cachers because of location of cache. Cache is winter accessible and is approved by park manager. This is a second attempt after the first one was stolen. Located within 8-10' of old cache. Can still see where old cache was located, so do not be fooled. New coordinates are a little different than the old , so here they are:
N 42 44 641
W 76 46 068
good luck

NYS Parks geocaching permit # DC - 1- 06
