Non-Stop Service to Illinois - TB Motel Traditional Geocache

Team Nosaj, Prince A Pal and Miles of Smiles have teamed up to create a cache with non-stop service between the Washington D.C. Metropolitan and Chicagoland areas.

We are conveniently located in Black Hills Regional Park for quick TB swaps. Parking is readily available at the parking coordinate documented for this cache. The cache is off trail, but the terrain is not too difficult.

For the little caches that may be along, there is a fantastic playground a little ways down the road from the cache.

The cache container is an ammo can with a gold lid (see picture), and contains a special compartment: the Departure Gate. If you have a TB that you want to go to the Chicagoland area, just drop it into the Departure Gate and it will arrive shortly in the associated cache in the Chicagoland area, (here). All TBs are welcome as long as they fit inside of the Departure Gate. If it doesn't fit, it won't get a ticket to ride.

Be sure to check out any new arrivals in the cache. They will be placed in the ammo can but outside of the departure gate. These TBs will need your help moving about the east coast.

If you wish to leave a TB, but do not want it to go to the Chicagoland area, just place it outside of the Departure Gate. And it will catch the next local shuttle to another cache by conventional means. This cache is primarily a TB Motel; however it is stocked with a few trade items.
