This is a large traditional cache located at historic Mount Hope
Farm in Bristol, RI. You can find directions and hours on the
Mount Hope Farm website.
They occasionally close the farm for special events, so be sure to
check their website before heading out.
The cache is slighly off the beaten path and the general area
can get a little muddy after a rain, so come prepared. Reading
through the log, it appears there can be lots of bugs. Getting to
the actual cache does require some bush wacking and there is some
poison ivy in the area. Look around and you will find an easier
approach to the cache.
The GPS was showing an accuracy of 25ft when we saved the
waypoint, so it should be pretty accurate. Since the cache
container is so large, please be sure to do a good job hiding it
again.
