Williamsburg Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Heartland Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for new caches submitted to Geocaching.com from Nebraska and Wyoming.

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache which makes it appear the Cache Owner is either unwilling or unable to maintain the cache. Cache maintenance includes listing maintenance including updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and enabling the listing. The cache will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. Should the owner decide to maintain the cache in the near future (30 days), just contact me (by email including the GCXXX and Cache Name), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

Thanks for your understanding,
Heartland Cacher

Geocache Description:

Visit one of Lincoln's fine parks. The area around here has really been developed.

You are looking for a square Rubbermaid Takealong container hidden in Williamsburg City Park. The walk to the cahce is on a concrete trail so a wheelchair, stroller etc could get to the vicinity of the cache easily (within 10 feet). Bring the kiddies to use the playground. Enjoy the shelter area or play some baseball. Lots of muggles around and The Tourists Rocking Oaks Cache is a short walk down the path. I think the coordinates are close since I used two units and they matched within .001 Long and Lat was the same. I was about approx 10 feet from the actual cache when I took the reading so keep that in mind. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE LID IS TIGHTLY ON. I just submerged it in h20 for 24 hours and the inside was not even damp. The corners of the cache take some pushing down to lock into place.
