What is life like at the bottom of the C? You can find out if you journey to this cache. Be on the lookout for wildlife and be sure to note any sightings in the log.
If you are adventurous you can swim up from underneath by parking at the main switchback on the road up, or if you want a gentler path dive down from the vista hut.
Follow the directions to C is for Cache to find the right roads.
The cache is filled with flotsam that could be found at the bottom of a sea:
2 dollars - sand type
Polished rocks
A Orca whale
Glass hangings
Shell hangings
A couple of those weird deep-sea fish that can glow in the dark
A micro cache looking for a location complete with log and pencil
FTF - There is a certificate and a special Two-stepper glass art!
Colville Mountain Challenge
If you like to hike start with the Madison Trail cache, move on to 500 Feet Below C Level, Climb the 500 feet to Journey to the Bottom of the C, and then on to C is for Cache. This would be a good climb and very scenic. If you make it on foot let me know, and I will send you a certificate.
