No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Geocache Description:

After copping a bit of flak lately I have updated this cache. DONT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE IF YOU ARE WEAK OF HEART, MIND OR COMMON SENSE. DONT APPROACH THE CACHE FROM THE ROAD. FAST TRAFFIC IS NOT PEOPLE FRIENDLY. IF YOU CAN SEE ONE OF THE FEW TRAINS THAT MIGHT PASS THE CACHE, WAIT, SMILE AND WAVE TO THE DRIVER BEFORE PROCEEDING. AGAIN TRAINS ARE NOT PEOPLE FRIENDLY IF YOU DONT WANT TO DO THE CACHE, DRIVE ON AND THINK OF SOMETHING ELSE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.

The original description is listed below.

Is This It ? Emmnmnl and I have a series of caches "on" inland NSW highways, based on family friendly caching sites. We have just started a series of harder caches which we will refer to a "off" the highways.

A small luchbox container with the usual caching goodies.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WALK ON THE ROAD TO GET THIS CACHE. STAY OFF THE ROAD. Be very careful with children and stupid adults (Actually, I just added this today, Feb 2010) in this location.

Is this the spot ?

Look to the west, you will see dynamic agricultural lands on flat endless Namoi floodplains. Rich black soils that plants thrive in. The view to the west can be magic at sunset and just a good with the afternoon summer storm clouds rolling in.

To the East a dramatic contrast with the rough and rising peaks surrounding Mt Kaputar. Sometimes in low cloud, sometimes not, they help make this spot a special spot. If you get the chance, do the 30km trip to the summit and enjoy the views in all direction.

So is this the best spot between two worlds ?

OK so the cache location is not so romantic, but at least it is elevated and you can see both ways. The cache does not meet the requirements for the "On Newell" series, but Narrabri does need more caches, so here it is.

Enjoy.
