Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the Phenix City–Russell County War
Casualties Memorial in the shadow of Garrett-Harrison Stadium. The container is a plastic case slightly smaller than a match tube. Just to the east of the geocache, there is a convenient parking lot, which can be accessed from Stadium Drive.

Don't forget to take a moment to read the inscriptions on the monuments and to honor the Russell County residents who have lost their lives in war. There are five monuments, one each for World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War. There is also an eternal flame on the path leading to the monuments.
