This cache is hidden in one of the more secluded and less frequently visited sections of Black Creek Park in Chili.
It is located in a small grove of old locust trees (actually honey locust trees...) from which the cache name is derived.
The cache is a dark brown 7.62mm ammo container. It contains a typical small assortment of mostly kid-oriented treasures (matchbox cars, small action figures, etc) with a few other odd ‘n ends thrown in. And of course a logbook and pencil.

Be aware! The straight line distance indicated by your GPS to this cache from nearby trailheads can be deceptive. The surrounding terrain is woods, wetland and old farm fields. The wetland is well.....wet(!) And the farmland is densely overgrown with dense, brambley brush. Unless you are a rabbit direct movement toward the cache is pretty much impossible.
Plan instead on hiking along somewhat circuitous park trails a longer distance to the locust grove than your GPS indicates. Fortunately the trails are wide and kept mowed so walking is easy. (However in wet weather there's spots along the trails will be muddy.)
Unless you are intimately familiar with the trail layout inside Black Creek Park, use of a park trail map is HIGHLY recommended!
