La Isleta del moro esta situada en el parque natural Cabo de Gata-Nijar, uno de los lugares mas bonitos de Andalucia.

La Isleta del Moro es un pequeño núcleo pesquero y turístico situado cerca de Los Escullos, junto a un colosal peñón y una isleta de la que recibe su nombre, antiguamente frecuentado por árabes y piratas en busca de tesoros. Se piensa que el caudillo berberisco Mohamed Arráez, que llegó al lugar, fue quien le dió su nombre.
Está formado por un pequeño grupo de casas blancas donde viven gentes sencillas dedicadas, desde tiempos inmemoriales a la pesca, aunque ahora son ya pocos los que se dedican a esta actividad.
Desde su embarcadero salen algunos centros de buceo del Parque Natural.

La Isleta del Moro is a small located fishing and tourist nucleus near Los Escullos, next to a colossal rock and an islet from which it receives his name, formerly frequented by Arabs and pirates in search of treasures. One thinks that the berberisco caudillo Mohamed Arráez, who arrived at the place, was the one who gave his name him.
It is formed by a small group of white houses where dedicated simple people live, from immemorial times to the fishing, although now those are already few that are dedicated to this activity. From its wharf they leave some centers diving of the Natural Park.
