Blast to the past milestone 1,000 finds! I would like to thank
Bushwhacking Queen and the Ecorangers for being there on my 1,000
find. Tami from the Ecorangers put a cache that was called
Russell’s 1000th (GCTX8E). Thanks Guys you’re the best! Ok now for
the cache. Liked how my first Blast to the past series turned out
so I decided that I needed to do one for my 1,000 milestone. It was
hard to decide what ones I wanted to do. For this series I could
only come up with 3. I do have one more that I will be adding to
this series at a later date. Just need to hunt down a similar
container. So it might be awhile.
When I first did a cache like this one well let me say I am not
a fan of these places. So you may be saying why did I do one like
this. Well it is the memories that were had while doing it. Diane
really liked it so her you go this one is for you.
Part 1 The coordinates will take you the American Legion
in Kewaskum. You will need to use the plaque too help you get the
coordinates for the second part.
To get the numbers for the x’s you will need to use the plaque
for Robert George Romaine.
N43 31.3X5
Take the number of times the name Robert is on the plaque and
replace the x with that number.
W088 13.6X1
He was in World War ___? Take that number and replace X with that
one.
Part 2.For this cache you will need to use the 1950
plaque that is in the lobby to fill in the blanks to find out were
the cache is at. There is a bonus for this cache. This cache is not
available 24 hours! It is available M-W 10am-8pm, Thurs-Fri
10am-5pm, Sat 10am-1pm and is closed Sunday. I would like to thank
Steve Baker for permission and the help on making this cache
possible! He was a real big help!
Ref # _1_ _2_ _3_
1.To get the first number count the number of names on the
plaque and write that in spot number one.
2. Count the number of names with there middle initial and put
that in spot number 2.
3. Count the number of names that start with the letter C and
put that in spot 3.
4. Now go next door and look away. The place is not that big. We
are a small town.
5. Look on the lid of the container for the bonus find of you
choose to.
