This is a two stage multi cache, the first stage is at a Pioneer Cemetery where you will gather information to lead you to a traditional final stage.
N43 and W79 are assumed for coordinates to be calculated.
This cache is the third in a series and there is a three digit code under the lid for later use.
Stage One – The Hornby Pioneer Cemetery – At the posted coordinates there are pioneer gravestones set in concrete, you will need to get the following information:
The year of James McKinney’s death = A
The age of James McKinney’s wife when she died = B
The year William and Ann Armstrong’s infant twins Eliza and Martha died = C
The year of Francis McKinney’s death = D
To calculate coordinates for parking:
Divide A by 1000 and subtract from 35.786 to get North minute value, and divide B by 1000 and add to 50.519 to get West minute value.
To calculate coordinates for the final stage:
Divide C by 1000 and subtract from 35.688 to get North minute value, and divide D by 1000 and add to 48.518 to get West minute value.
Final Stage – The main cache is a small plastic Lock & Lock container containing a log book and some very small trade items.
