Beavis & Butthead go to the Spa Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TeamViagra: I am so sorry to say that this cache has to be archived because of construction in the parking lot. I am going to hide another one, close to the area, but I know this has to be archived first. It was a pleasure having everyone look and find our cache. Cache on Cachers, and may the Caching Force be with you.

Geocache Description:

Beavis & Butthead thought a day at the Spa would be nice.

Beavis was in the mood for some pampering and Butthead went along for fun. This Spa was so wonderful that Beavis fell head over heals in love with it, and Butthead thought, what was good for the goose, was good for the gander and went along for fun. They almost went fishing, but changed their minds and just had fun at the Spa.
Co-ordinates are an average of many readings taken, and then double checked with a different GPSr so no need to note that co-ords are off. Ok, since two people made comments about co-ords leading them to the pond, we took our two GPSRs and our son's and we took 25 readings each, and we came up with approximately the same as what we originally found. GPSrs were reading with 9 ft, and our readings put us with 11 ft of the cache, so we are not changing the co-ords.

The following excerpt was taken from the Getting Started page to remind people that all co-ordinates are approximate.

A GPS unit is a electronic device that can determine your approximate location (within around 6-20 feet) on the planet. Coordinates are normally given in Longitude and Latitude. You can use the unit to navigate from your current location to another location. Some units have their own maps, built-in electronic compasses, voice navigation, depending on the complexity of the device.

You don't need to know all the technical mumbo jumbo about GPS units to play Geocaching. All you need to do is be able to enter what is called a "waypoint" where the geocache is hidden. We're working on a section to help you set up your own GPS unit to play. In the meantime, feel free to ask questions in our online forums .
