The trail to the cache is not to steep but has rocks and roots in it. The cache it self is a medium size camoed plastic lock & lock container and is well hidden. Please be sure to hide it well before you leave. This is a new cache and is a replacement for the origanal Cool Cache and is in a new spot so if you found the old one you can find this also.
Part of historic Coolidge Point, the Coolidge Reservation is named for the prominent family who came to own the peninsula. The diverse woodland features a mix of oak and pine with numerous wildflowers and ferns, and is home to an array of birds and other wildlife, including fishers and fox. Formed by rocky outcrops, Bungalow Hill offers views of Magnolia Harbor. Clarke Pond, once a tidal saltwater marsh, was cut off from the sea nearly a century ago when the inlet was filled. Several acres of wetlands, grading from shallow marsh to shrub swamp, surround Clarke Pond.
Be sure to check out the view from the top of the hill.
Hours are 8 AM until sunset every day.
