This cache container was one of forty made available to all those who participated in the recent Mid-Island Cache Stampede, a geocaching event in Comox. The intent was to generate 40 "New" caches in the Central Island region. This cache requires a short hike to the cache location where, on a nice day, one could have a picnic with the whole family!
This walk is short but has a steep section that you will feel more on the way back then on the way to the cache. It will lead you to a natural boundary where you will then , after admiring the scenery , take several steps under the "natural canopy" to the cache location. Admire these giants and look high for their inhabitants, below you will notice how something old can sometimes become something new! The cache is a regular sized lock and lock, green in color! Have fun !
