Water is such a precious commodity in the desert. We don’t have the
abundance of water found in the northern states. It is a shame that
some folks waste it. However, people are beginning to realize the
importance of using less water for irrigation and instead saving it
for drinking and other domestic uses.
There are lots of areas in the Las Vegas Valley where grass
landscaping is being converted to more desert friendly, less water
intensive types of cover. This site is one of those conversions.
While locating the cache, take time to enjoy the antics and sounds
of the birds chirping in the many trees which line this area.
As always be respectful of the landscaping and watch out for the
many muggles who frequent this location.
