An animal themed cache located near a cross-country course.
If you choose to pursue this cache beware of the dreaded fire-breathing panther that guards its entrance. The closest parking is to the northwest near the football field and tennis courts. Choose a path which goes by the dreaded panther and search in the panther's lair. If you want to avoid the panther, you can park at the high school and take a longer hike to the cache.
It is best to avoid looking during school hours. Also be on the lookout for muggles walking dogs or running the cross-country course.
The cache originally contained: T-Rex beanie baby (2000 series in orginal package), lion cub, buffalo, Canadian two dollar coin with bear on it and a Canadian one dollar coin with a loon on it.
[For those wondering about the fire-breathing panther, the football scoreboard has a panther that breathes fire whenever DeWitt scores a touchdown.]
On April 18, 2010, the cache was moved to a much easier hide near mowed areas. The panther had caused mere mortals to give up in frustration while trying unsuccessfully to find the well disguised cache in its previous location.
