Geocache Description:

This cache is at a place like no other in Antigonish County. Park at N45 39.860 W061 55.880.

The cache is hidden in the "Sinkhole Woods" as I call it. In these woods are big natural piles of gypsum, at the edge of the woods are some huge gypsum cliffs looking out over a marsh and small bay in the Antigonish Harbour. First you have to climb a cliff and then navigate around sinkholes and then eventually you will find a rough trail to follow along the top of the cliffs, where you get a great view of the marsh and surrounding areas. There are so many interesting things at this place, such as deep holes that look bottomless, trees that get bent over from the strong wind that pushes against them every storm as well as some huge hemlock trees, trees with their exposed roots wrapped around gypsum stones, and at the end of course, an eagles nest in one of the hemlock trees. You'll see lots of wildlife on this trip, eagles of corse, possibly deer, I even saw a coyote running across the marsh from the top of the cliffs. Please use extreme caution when looking for this cache to avoid falling off the cliff or down one of the "bottomless pits". Good luck!
