This is a small cache located in a small park in Scranton. It should be a very quick find for novice and expert cachers alike.
The name of this park is Pretzel Park but I've heard that it has other names. It is one of the smallest parks that I have ever seen. There is a walkway through it and some benches but no phones, restrooms, or soda machines. The park is well maintained and there are some nice trees, shrubs, and flowers during the spring and summer months. If you know your trees, you will be able to pick out a large Ginko tree. It has wide fan shaped leaves and the tree itself looks different from the other trees in the park. The Ginko tree is fascinating because it is the oldest living species of tree. It was kept alive and cultivated by the Japanese and then transplanted to various parts of the world. The park is a nice place to throw frisbees and walk dogs (make sure you clean up after them). The cache itself is a small plastic container that contains a log book and pen. It shouldn't be a hard find at all. Please return it where you found it. Beware of other people since the park is utilized by the surrounding neighborhood. Good Luck!
UPDATE:
The cache has been replaced with a culture tube and is a little harder to find. Please replace it exactly as you found it.
