In my days (and nights) out on the hunt for the elusive geocache, I’ve come across many different types of hides. Some I really enjoyed and some ... well, not so much. Whenever I would find a cache that I thought was unique or a clever hide, I’d say to myself that I’d like to copy it back home. Well folks, this is one of those hides!
For those who have seen similar caches, this might be an easy find. For others, it may take quite a bit of searching. For that reason, I am rating this a 3 difficulty. If it proves to be more or less difficult, I may change the rating later. I’m placing this cache near two of my favorite stores. In fact, everything used in hiding this cache was obtained from these two stores.
While you’re here looking for this one, be sure to drop off all of your recyclables in the nearby bins. You will need to bring along a pen to sign the log. Hope you enjoy!
UPDATE 4-30-06: I posted a note right after this cache was hidden stating that you didn't need to open anything here. So remember, you DO NOT have to open any of the electrical boxes -- or any other boxes -- to find this cache. It is hidden in plain view.
Also, this is one cache that you are encouraged to bring your garbage and leave it behind! ... in the recycling bins, please. Thanks to all that have come out for the hunt thus far and thanks to ppro for the reminder on the electrical boxes. Please practice safe caching and enjoy!
UPDATE 4-27-11: It appears that the recycling bins have been taken away and the above description regarding leaving your garbage behind is no longer appropriate. The cache itself, however, is unaffected. Happy hunting!
