The Onkaparinga Radio Aero Modellers Inc. (ORAM) is a club made up of members, who range from expert flyers to novices and those that just enjoy the fun of flying model aircraft.

ORAM, as a club was formed some 37 years ago at Lobethal, South Australia. In 1993 the club relocated after purchasing land at its current location at Sanderston.

The club has members qualified to instruct and train novice flyers and experienced members willing to help and assist modellers in the selection of models, construction techniques and flying training.

Facilities at the flying field include club rooms with limited cooking facilities, toilet, an outdoor covered eating area and a pit area with work benches for flyers to prepare models for a day’s flying.

The ethos within the club has been built up over the years to be one of cooperation and trust.
For junior members it is a hobby that new skills and confidence are achieved.

For members the field is available 7 days a week for flying, subject to weather conditions.

Club meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month (ex. Dec) where members can get together. Some meetings include a guest speaker and a light supper.
