Geocache Description:


Please be aware that there is a fair amount of poison ivy (visit link) on the island and directly around the cache during the summer months so please watch your step!

This is the Pierces Island General Stark Stash
This is the first cache by General Starks Crew (and in our home town of Portsmouth). This cache is a plastic tub.

This is a Map (any kind), Flag (miniature cloth, pin, sticker), Fishing Cache. There are also plenty of toys for the little ones inside, so be sure to bring a related item or toy to leave behind and please sign the log!

The spot is easily accessed from any parking area on Pierce Island. The cache itself is more easily accessed from a shore approach (watch your step at high tides) than from the island walking paths and it is a super striper fishing spot too. So if you are inclined, bring your rod, some chunk bait and enjoy the fantastic view up down and cross the Piscataqua.
