LOOKOUT BELOW Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

White Hare: It has been requested by a Park Ranger that my cache be removed for the reason noted in his coments below:

"I regret to inform you that this geocache needs to be either removed or relocated. The location of this cache has created an unnecessary spur trail within the park. We are currently working on a trail improvement project that will remove a large amount of dirt at the intersection of the main trail and this spur."

Geocache Description:

The Cache is located in Twin Falls State Park (AKA Olallie State Park) and was placed with permission from a Olallie State Park Ranger on 4-20-2006. The trail to the cache area is along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River. A very scenic good trail that has an elevation gain of 500 feet as you near the cache (sorry no bikes or horses allowed).

To get to the trailhead go east on I-90, turn off on Exit 34, head south on 468 Ave SE, turn left on SE 159th ST (there is a small pointer sign saying Twin Falls State Park) and go to the end of the road. The $5.00 day parking fee is no longer required at Washington State Parks. The cache location is a little more than a half mile hike.

The cache is an ammo box. Don’t confuse this cache with the nearby small Letter Box which is a plastic container.
Enjoy the hunt.
