Park at Comanche-Venable TH. Follow Rainbow Trail spur approx. 1/4 mile generally NW crossing Venable Creek once. At 1/4 mile, spur trail forms a "T" with main Rainbow Trail. Take Rainbow Trail left. Follow for about 200 yds to Venable Creek crossing (upper one). Trails are steep and rocky, elevation about 8500-9300 ft. Terrain is mountainous and forested.

This cache is a JIF peanut butter jar wrapped in silver duct tape. It is hidden very well.
The original contents are: Ear plugs, a computer chip, bubbles, a Travel bug, floss, mini mug, ball, bracelet, log book, and one dollar for first finder.
