It's going to be some time before I can get back up to speed. So, I'm going to archive this one and hope that someone replaces it with a better one.
This is such a nice spot - If someone does not beat me back here, I'll try to replace it sometime later this year.

Wilshire Trails Park Overlook

This cache is hidden at one of my favorite spots to come, sit and be "Still" while remaining in the city.
Come, find the cache - then sit and enjoy the birds, squirrls, chipmunks, creek and view.
Please place container back in the hiding place carfully so it will not roll down the hill. :)
NOTE: You do NOT have to crawl UNDER the overlook to find the cache. In fact, please don't. The bank is steep and can cause erosion. The cache was placed, and can be accessed from the path side of the overlook.

Located on Wilshire Road below Gainesville High School. This park was constructed in 1983 and provides walking trails as part of the Rock Creek Greenway with bridges, boardwalks and rest areas. One steep side trail leads to a lookout point overlooking the park. A walking trail follows along beside Rock Creek. This park is between Ivey-Terrace and Longwood Parks.
This park is home to the annual Butterfly Release sponsored by the Friends of the Parks in partnership with Gainesville Parks & Recreation.
