Under a bush atop a cliff. Elevation 96m. The patient hunter will find the easy way. The rest of us... will march right up the stream bed.
This cache is located at a spot I visited during a Structural Geology Field Trip when I was at Acadia. A slickenside is an indicator of a fault system. A polished, striated rock surface caused by one rock mass sliding over another in a fault plane. It is also a very challenging hike but you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the Western Annapolis Valley.
There is a First-To-Find Prize. A Ceramic Footprint from "The Clay Ground" in Wolfville. The first person to find this cache is welcome to bring this footprint into the studio and paint it (It's already paid for!!!" The footprint is to remind us to "Take only pictures, Leave only footprints".
Original items include:
-1 Logbook with 2 Pencils
-1 FTF Prize (Ceramic Footprint)
-3 Clay Ground Fridge Magnets
-5 Harry Potter Runes
-1 Giant Balloon
-3 Crayons
-2 Mini Clothes Pins with critters on it
-1 Paramedic Bracelet.
Happy Hunting!!
