An area best accessed on FS900 off Highway 26 between Prineville and Madras. Cache elevation is 3687.
Important notice: This access road is closed from September 28 thru March 31 to protect wildlife and soil conditions. You will have to hike prox. 1.75 miles one way to get to the cache during that period. If you have a high clearance rig you could drive pretty close (not if it's wet). A neat place to sit and watch the world go by.
